A recently 'Good with Outstanding features' graded Primary School in Greenwich are searching for a Deputy Headteacher to join their team in September on a permanent basis. This Deputy Headteacher position is suitable for both experienced Deputy Headteachers as well as Assistant Headteachers looking to make the jump to Deputy.

Teachers and staff at the school are happy and enjoy coming to work. There is incredibly low turnover due to the amount of effort that's gone in to creating a fun, cohesive atmosphere. Teachers are provided with trust and treated like adults. Children's behaviour is graded Outstanding. They are polite, welcoming and proud of their school.

Deputy Headteacher - Job Specification

• Full time, permanent position.
• Commencing in September.
• L11 - L15 Inner London Payscale
• £64,229 to £75,545 per annum
• Non-class based but occasionally modelling of best practice will be great
• The Deputy Headteacher will hold DSL responsibilities. The school is in a high PP area so this will be a significant proportion of the role.
• The ideal candidate will have prior teaching experience in EYFS & KS1 in order to compliment the senior leadership team's prior experience & expertise in KS2.
