Locum Democratic Services Group Manager – Home Counties – Up to £500 per day Umbrella ­­­– Hybrid Working – 3 months – Full Time (37 hours per week)

Job Title: Locum Democratic Services Group Manager  

Location: Home Counties     Rate: Up to £500 per day UmbrellaWorking Hours: Full Time, Hybrid Working (3-4 days on site necessary for the role)  Venn Group’s specialised legal team are in collaboration with a Council based in the Home Counties in their search for an experienced Locum Democratic Services Manager.  This is a full-time position where you will be assisting with the management and supervision of the committee and election teams. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in democratic services at a senior level and have managed committee and election teams.

Duties include:

• Mentoring and supporting the Committee & Electoral Services Manager
• Assisting with the management and supervision of the committee and elections teams
• Delivering on the implementation of best practice predominantly in the committee team
• Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the Committee & Electoral Services Manager
• Leading on implementing good practice especially in the committee team
• Supporting the monitoring officer on strategic management

This post is full time, (37 hours per week) on a hybrid basis (3-4 days on site) offering up to £500 per day Umbrella.
