Delivery Lead

HSBC is currently searching for a Delivery Lead to join the team in London to support on delivering high priority programmes to simplify / digitise at scale and automate the credit and leaning journey for the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of the agreed strategy by orchestrating change governance and definition of the roadmaps by collaborating with the wider global and regional stakeholders and communicating to the IT, Change and BAU teams
- Ensure that the products meet the HSBC quality standards and cover all bases with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance and other supporting areas
- Ensure that solutions are fit for purpose within different regions and adapt as necessary to enable broader rollouts
- Working closely with the delivery partners and IT/architecture teams to ensure that the solutions are fit for purpose and meet the stakeholder requirements. Provide feedback for improvements in an iterative delivery model
- Working closely and influencing the business architecture and business analyst teams to ensure the product meets the Target Operating Model and process flows and adapt as necessary
- Work closely with the delivery and working group leads to prepare a roadmap that aligns with the overall portfolio transformation strategy
- Establish effective project controls and procedures and quality assurance processes
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drives definition and implementation of strategy in ways that maximise business success
- Strong influencer who can bring together disparate and virtual teams and coalesce them around a common goal
- Leads and manages the implementation of change to ensure ongoing delivery of business goals. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels. Ability to leverage resources available to achieve goals.
- Ability to make critical decisions and prioritise to ensure that the agreed outcomes are delivered. Strong organizational, time management and planning skills in order to facilitate with multiple and significant responsibilities.
- Keeps focus on the medium and long-term goals and the Group’s values particularly when under short term pressure
Experience Required:
- Track record of leading delivery through teams directly and indirectly across local and remote environments
- Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments
- Evidence of managing and satisfying multiple stakeholders and perspectives in a fluid and changing environment
- Leads and manages the implementation of change to ensure ongoing delivery of business goals
- Plans and manages activities needed to implement change successfully
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group.
- High level of drive and motivation to ensure successful delivery of complex transformational initiatives.
- Ability to leverage resources available to achieve CCM COO and business / function goals.
- Outstanding organizational, time management and planning skills in order to cope with multiple large-scale responsibilities.
- Collaborative end to end leadership style which enables interdependent outcomes and works across boundaries in an Agile and connected manner
- Previous experience working within tier 1 banking institutions
