Join the School, as a Degree Apprenticeship Assistant. This role provides crucial organisational and administrative support to our apprenticeship programmes, which have been rated as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in administrative duties and are adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for activities related to examinations and end-point assessments for apprenticeship programmes, including producing minutes and assisting with report production.
- Ensure that Apprenticeship programmes comply with ESFA and Ofsted requirements, including coordinating and collating necessary data and managing updates to the apprenticeship management system.
- Assemble and analyse data to prepare reports, correspondence, and other documents for key internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the production and editing of student Degree Apprenticeship handbooks and teaching content on the School’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), ensuring accuracy and compliance with academic regulations.
- Manage online filing systems, ensuring documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Coordinate and support the organisation of events related to the school’s Apprenticeship programmes.
- Respond to apprenticeship-related queries from staff, students, and employers, acting as a key administrative contact.
- Accompany staff to key meetings and events, taking notes and following up on action points.
- Coordinate diaries, project schedules, and event schedules, ensuring all engagements are up-to-date.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational or apprenticeship setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis.
- Experience in managing online content and familiarity with Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) such as QMplus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
