We are looking for a commercially minded professional with experience in Debt Advisory to join our team in a strategic advisory capacity. This position involves guiding organisations through complex financial decisions, particularly around funding and capital structure optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of funding strategies and transactions, including the development of presentation materials, financial evaluations, and stakeholder updates.
- Perform detailed financial assessments to understand borrowing capacity, evaluate various funding routes, and propose tailored recommendations.
- Build and manage financial models used to test business forecasts, simulate scenarios, and analyse financial covenant impacts.
- Maintain and strengthen working relationships with clients, lenders, and other key financial players.
- Work alongside internal specialists across disciplines such as valuation, research, and corporate transactions to ensure effective delivery.
- Keep up to date with trends in credit markets, shifts in interest rates, and changes in relevant regulations.
- Participate in structuring financial agreements, contributing to the negotiation of commercial terms and reviewing legal documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience (ideally 3+ years) in a relevant field such as structured finance, debt advisory, restructuring, leveraged finance, or corporate finance.
- High level of proficiency in financial modelling and the ability to interpret complex financial information.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Strong relationship management skills and a track record of working with financial counterparties.
