We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support our data archiving process. The role involves some heavy lifting (up o 15kg) whilst handling boxes of incoming files from clients. You will accurately label each file, and enter key information into our system to ensure easy retrieval and traceability.
Must be able to commute to SS15 6TA
Key Responsibilities of a Data Entry Clerk:
- Heavy lifting and manual handling (Up to 15kg)
- Retrieve and review files sent by clients for archiving.
- Apply consistent and accurate labelling to each file.
- Input file metadata and labels into the digital tracking system.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain confidentiality.
- Coordinate with internal teams as needed to clarify labelling or data requirements.
- Safety shoes will need to be worn
Required Skills of a Data Entry Clerk:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable using data entry systems and file management software.
- Ability to follow structured work-flows and meet deadlines.
- Due to the location of the office, must have access to a vehicle and be able to drive; the site is not accessible by public transport.
- Previous experience in data entry or file management is an advantage but not essential.
