Our client who is a Fintech is on the lookout for Data Engineers to become an integral part of their hybrid working team based in Blackpool. In these roles you'll be responsible for supporting the implementation and migration of data solutions internally, ensuring the quality of integration platforms, and creating ETL packages. Key Responsibilities: Help identify and implement the approach to data modelling our business processes in a manner that allows for agile implementation and improvement. Monitor and maintain ETL processes to ensure the continuation of an accurate data reporting platform for the business. Explore solutions for optimising the performance of the strategic data platform pipelines, following development design principles Technical Skills required: Considerable experience with SQL and Python Extensive SQL knowledge (Microsoft SQL Server 2005+) and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (T-SQL) Microsoft SQL server Integrated Services (SSIS) including ETL/ELTL design and development experience. Experience working with Azure Data Factory or Databricks (desirable) Experience working with Azure data platform technologies such as Data Lake gen 2, Synapse, Analysis Services, Power BI (desirable) Qualifications:Some knowledge of a few of the following; T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and traditional MS-Stack technology.Aptitude for astute analysis and creative problem-solving.
