Job Description :

Main Purpose Of Job:

The Data Apprentice reports into the business applications manager and is responsible for the day to day support of the O365 power platform suite of applications (SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate), working with business areas across the club the role to help instil an O365 first approach to automation and efficiency. Building low code solutions to help the business run more efficiently, the individual will need to be self-starting, and keen to learn the art of the possible, then taking this knowledge out to enhance business processes through positive stakeholder engagement.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Self-learning of low code development within the power platform to provide business solutions with the support of online resources.
  • Engagement with business stakeholders to analyse problem areas and showcase potential solutions.
  • Peer reviewing of low code solutions within the power platform, and analysis of existing workflows in order to create further efficiencies.
  • Administration of existing Power Automate solutions.
  • Supports the wider team's role in second line support/problem management of vendor supplied software, working closely with Product owners to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the software products.
  • Gathering requirements from key stakeholders and using critical thinking to map out and articulate solutions.
  • Documenting the build of any low code solutions/workflows created

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Power Platform suite of applications.
  • Understanding of low-code solutions

Essential Functional/Technical Skills:

  • Desire to learn low code solutions
  • Ability to Analyse problems and present appropriate solutions
  • Good stakeholder management skills across a wide range of differing functional areas
  • Good interpersonal and customer facing skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders

Entry Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
