We are recruiting for a Damp and Mould Project Support Officer to support the delivery of housing repairs projects and services. The role involves acting as the main liaison with tenants, surveyors and contractors, coordinating damp and mould works, managing workloads, and providing administrative support to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and residents receive excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as first point of contact for residents during damp & mould works, offering reassurance and support.

• Coordinating repairs and damp/mould projects with internal teams, surveyors, and contractors.

• Managing departmental email inboxes, calendars, and responding to correspondence.

• Collecting technical data and performance indicators to support contract management and reporting.

• Supporting Strategic Asset Management Services with data input and reports for budgets.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Experience in a housing repairs, maintenance, or tenant liaison environment.

• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with ability to manage workloads and deadlines.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, particularly when dealing with vulnerable or distressed tenants.

• Knowledge of damp and mould issues in housing is desirable but not essential.

• IT literacy, with the ability to use systems for scheduling, reporting, and record keeping.
