Position: Customer Support Advisor

Location: Head Office, Chiltern House, Marsack Street, Caversham, Reading (option of hybrid working after completion of probation period)

Working Hours: 08:30 – 17:00, Monday – Friday

Job Description:

The Customer Support Advisor is responsible for providing an ongoing and efficient customer focused support service to Property Managers and clients.  Key responsibilities and tasks include:

• Client & Customer Interaction – Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally, ensuring timely and grammatically correct responses.
• Service Standards & Communication – Maintain politeness, clarity, and professionalism in all interactions while meeting customer expectations.
• Issue Resolution & Administration – Address portfolio-related instructions, monitor contractor service delivery, and process insurance claims efficiently.
• Property Visits & Monitoring – Accompany Property Managers on site visits and ensure service levels are upheld.
• Decision-Making & Problem-Solving – Assess situations logically, provide reasoned responses, and contribute to process improvements.
• Customer Satisfaction & Continuous Improvement – Actively seek ways to enhance service delivery, identify trends, and exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Candidates for this position should have the following skills and qualifications:

• Basic IT skills (word-processing and spreadsheets).
• Industry specific systems (e.g. Propman / FixFlo) knowledge is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
• A good communicator (both written and oral), able to motivate both the direct staff and on-site staff to provide a user friendly and customer orientated management service .
• Organised and proactive.
