Customer Service Team Leader

Nottingham

Salary: £32,000 – £34,000

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Eaton Syalon are exclusively partnering with a well established business in Nottingham to recruit a Customer Service Team Leader. This is a hands on role where you will be leading a small, dedicated team, ensuring customers receive exceptional service every time while keeping the day to day operations running smoothly.

This role is perfect for someone who loves to lead from the front balancing management responsibilities with rolling up your sleeves to get involved in the day to day.

It is essential that you have previously managed a small team in a office environment to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and supporting a small Customer Service team, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
  • Managing and guiding the Procurement team to ensure smooth order fulfilment and stock availability.
  • Handling escalated customer queries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Processing customer orders, updating systems, and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Monitoring order progress and proactively resolving any issues that arise.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring they remain at the heart of everything we do.
  • Supporting the team’s development through training, mentoring, and performance reviews.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and processes.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience managing a small team within a customer-focused environment.
  • Happy to balance leadership with hands-on daily responsibilities.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Sage or similar systems is highly desirable.
  • A proactive, approachable, and positive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
