Customer Service Representative - Recruitment Solutions (North West) Ltd : Job Details

Our Rochdale based manufacturing client is looking to appoint a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be the frontline connection between our customers and our operations team—ensuring that orders are processed accurately, inquiries are resolved quickly, and clients receive exceptional support throughout the production and delivery process.

• Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
• Process and manage sales orders, track shipments, and coordinate with production and logistics teams
• Provide timely updates on order status, lead times, and any delays
• Liaise with 3PL providers to arrange and confirm customer deliveries
• Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
• Maintain customer records and order documentation in the CRM system
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations teams to meet customer needs
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in customer experience

• Experience in customer service, order processing or sales admin role, preferably in a manufacturing or B2B environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP/MIS systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce)
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first attitude
