Customer Service Advisor - Poole - £26,000

Our client is seeking a motivated Customer Service Advisor to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our valued customers and prospects. You will be the first point of contact for queries, ensuring each interaction is handled with professionalism, efficiency, and care.In this role, you will manage key customer accounts, build lasting client relationships, process orders accurately, and support sales through proactive engagement. You'll work closely with other departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled promptly and to the highest standard.Key Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture key customer accounts within our brands.
• Build strong, professional relationships with clients.
• Handle incoming calls and enquiries in a courteous, methodical manner.
• Cross-sell products and promote current offers.
• Process customer purchase orders with accuracy.
• Offer alternatives to out-of-stock items and resolve first-line technical queries.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Complete daily customer service and sales-related tasks set by the Office Manager.
• Maintain accurate records and manage electronic filing.
• Support with ad hoc administrative duties as required.

Key Skills:

• NVQ or equivalent in Customer Service.
• Proficiency in Outlook and Excel (intermediate level).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proven experience in telephone-based customer service.
• Previous telephone-based sales experience.
• Confident in using systems and maintaining accuracy under pressure.
