Customer Services Advisor
Location: Exeter
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday – Friday (8:30am-5pm)
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Services Advisor to join our clients’ dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Customer Services Manager, this role involves handling calls from retailers, answering queries, and accurately placing orders. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for multitasking, this position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to their outstanding customer service.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Answer inbound calls from retailers regarding orders and general enquiries.
- Process customer orders received via fax, telephone, or email.
- Issue Pro-forma/Invoices, order acknowledgments, and handle general administration tasks.
- Liaise with the Warehouse and distribution companies to ensure timely and accurate distribution of products.
- Calculate customer discounts and carriage costs related to customer orders.
- Resolve customer complaints, ensuring communication is timely, accurate, and professionally managed.
- Maintain accurate customer records within the CRM system, raising tickets when necessary.
- Support the field-based Sales Teams.
- Develop rapport with the dealer network and build relationships with the immediate team, internal departments, and customers.
- Comply with company policies at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Computer literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm to learn new skills and ability to retain large amounts of product information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
Desirable Qualities:
- Previous experience in dealing with customers over the telephone.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM systems.
