This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with logistics experience who enjoys a role that blends administration and customer service in a fast-paced, international environment.This role would suit someone highly organised, confident using IT systems, and comfortable managing high volumes of shipments while providing excellent service to clients and internal teams alike.
- Administering import, export, and UK road shipments using internal logistics systems
- Coordinating outbound activities and ensuring service levels are met
- Communicating with customers proactively regarding any shipment delays or deviations
- Working with internal departments across the UK and Europe to maintain strong relationships
- Producing customer reports and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Supporting final customs checks and providing required documentation
- Ensuring all actions are accurately logged for review and continuous improvement
The Candidate
- Experience in logistics or transport operations is essential
- A background in customer service with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive approach to resolving issues and providing updates to clients
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Confident IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of customs and import/export documentation (desirable)
