?? The Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in supporting customers across a range of industrial sectors including aerospace, automotive, energy, and more. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient order processing, proactive communication, and problem-solving.
??? Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries and process purchase orders promptly and accurately.
- Take ownership of allocated customer accounts, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Handle inbound enquiries and make outbound calls to follow up on quotations and orders.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with internal departments including finance, production, and logistics to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate customer records and data in CRM and ERP systems.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying and suggesting process enhancements.
- Deputise for the Customer Service Supervisor in operational meetings when required.
- Promote and adhere to Health & Safety standards within the department.
? What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a customer service or internal sales role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM/ERP systems.
- High attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering results.
