They have big plans for growth and their sales team is performing off the charts, so that is why they have chosen to partner with Hays to hire several new people to their customer service team.Your new roleYour job will be to deal with customer questions and resolve any customer concerns that come in by phone, email, webchat and social media. The majority of customers that you will be supporting will be members of the public, just like you and me, although they do have business customers that you will work with too. You'll be responsible for keeping the CRM system updated with accurate and detailed notes of cases and your actions, as well as booking appointments for your colleagues when they are needed in person.What you'll need to succeedThis is a small customer care team, so while some call centre experience might be useful, it's not an essential requirement as long as you can demonstrate some customer care experience (in an office). This is a very busy department so it's important that you can calmly manage a lot of cases at once, prioritising and reprioritising as information comes in and situations evolve without getting flustered. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as strong attention to detail, so make sure when you apply that your CV has no spelling, formatting or grammatical errors, because that will be a big turn-off!The team work mostly Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm but you will be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays (with a day off during the week instead) and they also have a late shift when you can have a lie-in and start later in the day and then finish later too (more details will be shared if you're shortlisted).PLEASE NOTE: Your customer care & complaint handling skills and your attention to detail will be tested if you are shortlisted for this job.What you'll get in returnThis is a key team in a company that is going through impressive growth, so it's a great place to be if you're looking for a business where your career can also grow.
