The Role
In this influential, dual-focused role, you'll spend your time managing existing client accounts while actively targeting and converting new opportunities. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and contribute directly to the company’s ambitious 3-year growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales Director with the day to day account management of key client relationships, serving as the main contact for enquiries, Request For Quotes, and ongoing project communications.
- Leverage market knowledge and incoming leads to identify and secure new business, building sustainable and profitable partnerships.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams — including Sales, Engineering, and New Product Introduction — to deliver seamless project outcomes.
- Contribute to commercial planning by supporting precise estimating, pricing strategies, and informed decision-making.
About You
We are looking for someone who is commercially minded and both customer service led whilst also being sales driven and enjoys the thrill of nurturing new business.
- 3+ years’ experience in account management or business development, ideally within manufacturing – not essential though if from a B2B background.
- Demonstrated success in growing existing accounts and consistently winning new business.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Commercially astute, organised, and confident working across both technical and commercial teams.
- Hold a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. National travel may be required to attend client meetings.
