Customer Services Co-ordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Services Co-ordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in providing efficient administrative support to the Customer Services team, ensuring high-level service delivery in line with our company standards and policies.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Serve as the initial contact for all customer enquiries, informing and educating customers about the benefits of our product portfolio, and answering follow-up questions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers by providing support, information, and guidance.
- Perform general administrative duties for the Sales & Marketing Teams, including order entry processing, issuing list price quotations, and maintaining/updating customer records in compliance with company standards.
- Respond to incoming communications (telephone/email) promptly and maintain and update CRM allocated tasks.
- Coordinate with Quality, Finance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues such as account setups, account stops, and RGA customer-related issues.
- Contribute to team meetings focused on the identification of new enquiries to ensure early sales engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in sales support, preferably with CRM exposure; Salesforce experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in a similar role within an industrial/engineering business is ideal.
- Strong knowledge of customer support in a results-driven environment.
- Proven experience in sales or telesales, including generating and progressing proposals to secure business.
- Basic understanding of contracts, quality clauses, and T&Cs commonly used in business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional and credible relationship-building skills, and good commercial acumen.
- Well-organised with strong quantitative skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Computer literacy, particularly in CRM platforms, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Zoom.
