CSA Design Manager - Matchtech : Job Details

Our client, a leading company in data centre delivery, is seeking an experienced CSA Design Manager to join their team on a permanent basis in Dublin. This exciting role involves overseeing a major data centre project, ensuring that design engineering meets and exceeds client expectations.

• Coordinate with the client's design team for the project build and site-wide design and services
• Coordinate the internal design teams and external design consultants ensuring design development is on schedule
• Plan and lead design and engineering workshops to resolve issues and ensure progress ahead of site activities
• Manage the Technical Submittal (TS) process ensuring timely submissions and adherence to specifications
• Oversee the design query process, raising issues in weekly workshops, and follow up with Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Manage IFC releases and updates, ensuring coordination with the design team and engineers
• Lead weekly design and engineering meetings to review progress and expedite urgent items
• Populate a design risk register to inform senior management and the client of potential upcoming risks

• Experience in delivering large-scale projects including office fitouts, retail, hotels, schools, data centres, etc.
• Data centre experience would be advantageous
• Background in a relevant construction discipline, degree level preferred
