This organisation is committed to supporting people in the criminal justice system by offering timely, person-centred interventions that encourage recovery and reduce reoffending.They are currently recruiting for a dedicated and motivated Criminal Justice Case Manager to join the team and help change lives.The Role: You’ll work directly with individuals referred via police custody suites and courts, conducting assessments and delivering brief interventions. This is a varied role that combines frontline support, care coordination, and multi-agency collaboration.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments around substance misuse issues and risk evaluations for individuals in custody or on bail
- Develop and implement tailored care plans
- Deliver brief interventions and harm reduction advice
- Refer service users into appropriate treatment pathways
- Support clients through the early stages of recovery and encourage engagement
- Attend court and custody environments across South Yorkshire
- Work closely with partner agencies and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings
- Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to internal/external reporting
- Promote wider access to housing, health, and support services
Essential Requirements:
- A relevant degree such as Criminology, Social WorkOR
- Diploma in Substance Misuse or equivalent
- Level 3 Tackling Substance Misuse or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrable experience working within substance misuse, criminal justice, or related fields
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, and care planning
