Job Description:Job Title Credit Structurer Location London Corporate Title Vice President The Complex & Illiquid Solutions Structuring Team sits within the Fixed Income and Currencies division of Deutsche Bank's Investment Bank. Working closely with the wider Credit Structuring, Trading and Coverage teams, your role will involve structuring and execution, settlement and corporate actions support and transaction management input for asset financing transactions undertaken by Credit Solutions -European trading team. Your primary responsibilities will closely relate to the transactions structuring and execution expertise of the applicant and in addition you will provide legal analysis of applicable laws, regulations and guidelines impacting the business, and ensure ongoing compliance with respect to the existing and future portfolio of transactions. Your key responsibilities
  • Providing structuring solutions on issues impacting financing transactions secured by a range of financial assets, predominantly bonds and loans
  • Financing transactions, through loans, repurchase agreements or derivatives, but can also include more bespoke and complex transactions involving multiple contractual arrangements and counterparties in different jurisdictions
  • Drafting and negotiating Termsheets, Input to, review and execution of transaction documentation, due diligence (legal, tax, other) of the collateral assets, managing transaction approval process, oversight of transfer, settlement and corporate actions as well as developing new products and transactions to capture market opportunities and address clients' requirements
  • Collaborating with the Deal team (with colleagues in the wider Structuring, Trading and Coverage teams) on specific transactions where an asset finance structuring specialist is required
Your skills and experience
  • Experience of working in a law firm or banking environment (or both)
  • Thorough experience and knowledge of loans and securities issuance, trading and settlement, and applicable laws, regulations and guidelines impacting them
  • Experience of loans (Loan management Agreement), securities, Global Master Repurchase Agreement, derivatives (International Swaps and Derivatives Association) transactional documentation and proven track record of leading execution of such transactions
  • Knowledge of banking regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to such transactions
  • Ability to prioritise a large workload and meet strict deadlines
