THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:

• Crafting and aligning credit policies to adhere to regulatory standards and industry benchmarks
• Conducting in-depth analysis of credit portfolios, identifying trends, and optimising risk-return profiles
• Collaborating across departments to seamlessly integrate credit risk frameworks into broader risk management practices
• Staying attuned to industry changes, updating credit risk frameworks, and providing comprehensive reporting to stakeholders
• Communicating findings clearly to senior management, fostering a culture of risk awareness and understanding throughout the organisation

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and/or Python
• 5+ years of experience within the lending space
• Extensive experience with secured or unsecured products
• Substantial experience within the credit risk function
