Credit Hire Fee Earner - Sacco Mann : Job Details

We are working with a leading firm who are offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Hire Fee Earner to develop their litigation skills in a supportive environment in Bolton. You will be managing your own caseload of defendant credit hire and injury claims valued up to £25k, with full training and mentorship provided.

As a Credit Hire Fee Earner, you will be:

• Managing a caseload of litigated credit hire and RTA injury files.
• Reviewing and analysing claims in line with client service level agreements.
• Formulating case strategy, conducting legal research, and driving claims forward.
• Drafting key documents including defences, witness statements, and court submissions.
• Attending to all court directions such as disclosure, exchange of evidence, DQs, PTRs, etc.
• Instructing counsel, drafting CPR Part 18/35 questions, and preparing for hearings.
• Liaising with third parties, solicitors, clients, insurers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate records, management information, and file compliance.

What we are looking for:

• Experience managing your own caseload of credit hire claims, ideally with some exposure to litigation.
• Solid understanding of the RTA claims process and court procedures.
• Strong communication and telephone negotiation skills.
• A proactive mindset and ability to work independently within a team.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
