Job Title: Credit Controller

Location: Telford

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Top of the salary range will be offered to a candidate with 2+ years in Credit Control with proven experience managing key clients and working with large values.

We are currently recruiting for an exclusive role with a valued Reed client. Our client is based in the Manufacturing sector, they are globally recognised business with their head office in Telford. The Credit Controller will be managing a ledger of live accounts and look after key clients for the business! The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Credit Controller, who is happy to provide any necessary training. We are looking for a confident and friendly character that is confident following their own initiative. Responsibilities Will Include:

• Work closely with the Senior Credit Controller to manage a ledger of live accounts and key accounts for the business.
• Reconcile and analyse accounts to understand and resolve payment queries.
• Work with customers to negotiate payment plans and obtain payment dates.
• Reconcile and allocate incoming payments.

Ideally, You Will:

• Have at least 1 year of working experience in Credit Control or collections in order to hit the ground running in this role!
• Be a confident character that is friendly and comfortable following their own initiative!
• Be a great communicator, in order to successfully build rapport with customers and the team.
• We are looking for a candidate that would like to stay, learn and grow with the business long term!
