Credit Controller/ Sales Ledger Specialist – Required for a Leading UK Manufacturer

A dynamic and well-established UK-based manufacturer and distributor is seeking a skilled Credit Controller / Sales Ledger Specialist to join its finance team. With operations spanning the UK and internationally serving major online retailers and expanding rapidly.

This role offers the chance to work within a fast-paced, international environment, supporting the UK operation through a variety of credit control / sales ledger responsibilities. Reporting directly to the Credit Control Manager, the successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Managing day-to-day transactional activities within the sales ledger
• Investigating and resolving customer queries efficiently
• Setting up new customer accounts
• Chasing outstanding payments
• Reconciling intercompany balances
• Assisting with daily banking and allocating customer receipts

The ideal candidate will bring at least 4 years of accounts experience, strong SAP knowledge (Not essential), and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.  A disciplined, organised approach and the ability to work under pressure are essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
