Credit Controller Department: FinanceReports to: Group Financial Controller & Credit Control SupervisorLocation: Redhill OR Dubai

Salary: £30,000

Introduction:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team. This role is focused on maximising cash flow and minimising bad debt across a portfolio of international clients spanning multiple regions, including the UK, Asia Pacific, USA, Nigeria, and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively chase outstanding debt via phone, email, and written correspondence, ensuring adherence to pre-event payment policies.
  • Flexibility to work international hours when required, particularly in the lead-up to events, to optimise collections.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer communications within the finance system to support query resolution and potential legal proceedings.
  • Efficiently manage and resolve account queries to reduce the risk of bad debt.
  • Respond to internal and external queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Travel to other offices and international events as needed to support debt collection and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a finance department, ideally with exposure to international payments.
  • Experience in the events industry is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of finance systems, particularly Salesforce and FinancialForce.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
