As their client base grows, they're expanding their finance team with a brand-new position that blends credit control with reconciliations and self-billing portfolio management.

You'll be working closely with the experienced Credit Control Manager, who will coach and support you to take full ownership of a distinct area within the team.

About the Role

As a Credit Controller, your focus will be on managing and improving debtor performance - particularly accounts approaching legal action - and handling complex reconciliations. You'll play a key role in supporting clients using self-billing portals and ensuring smooth, accurate financial processes.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys detailed financial work, and wants to be part of a team where your ideas and efforts are recognised.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing debtor performance - with a focus on aged debt and pre-legal accounts
• Handling reconciliations and overseeing a growing portfolio of self-billing clients
• Supporting credit sanctioning, banking, allocations, dispute resolution, and issuing credits
• Collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to resolve complex queries
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely, professional communication at all times

What We're Looking For

• Around 3+ years' experience in credit control
• A strong team player who's passionate about solving problems and delivering results
• Confident in managing reconciliations and dealing with self-billing processes
• Known for tenacity, professionalism, and a focused, solutions-oriented mindset
• Eager to develop - support is available for CICM qualifications
