Overview:A business in Leeds is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a great opportunity for a Credit Controller who is looking to take ownership of the credit control function in a supportive and professional environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and chasing outstanding debt

• Making outbound calls and emails to recover overdue payments

• Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts

• Sending statements and reminders in line with credit control procedures

• Handling and resolving invoice queries

• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller

• Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills

• Ability to manage relationships with both customers and internal teams

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
