WE Talent are hiring for a Credit Controller for our client in Colchester.

Are you an experienced Credit Controller with strong communication and organisation skills? We are seeking a motivated and reliable Credit Controller to join our team, managing customer accounts, recovering outstanding payments, and maintaining excellent relationships across the business.

• Managing debt recovery and customer payment arrangements using phone, email, and other communication methods.
• Handling customer enquiries professionally and ensuring accurate processing of all incoming payments.
• Reviewing and assessing new credit applications in line with company criteria.
• Submitting account application forms and maintaining up-to-date account records.
• Posting customer payments accurately onto the CRM system.
• Collaborating with the sales team to highlight any credit risks or opportunities.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and obtaining feedback to support service improvements.

• Proven experience working as a Credit Controller or in a similar finance role 3+ years.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• A discreet and professional approach when handling sensitive financial data.
• Quick to learn new systems and processes.
• Friendly, reliable, and always punctual.

• Experience using CRM systems and financial platforms (such as NetSuite).
• Relevant qualifications in credit control, finance, or accounting.

This Credit Controller role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, client-focused environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, efficient, and proactive financial support.

Salary: £32,000
