Description
- Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring timely payments.
- Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding payment issues professionally.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on aged debt and cash collections.
- Work closely with the wider accounting and finance team to support month-end processes.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
- Assist in implementing improvements to credit control procedures and systems.
- Support the team with ad hoc financial tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Previous experience in a credit control or similar accounting role.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
