Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring customer payments are received on time and matched to correct invoices
  • Chasing overdue payments via phone and email and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Accurately allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts
  • Monitoring credit limits, processing credit checks and supporting credit hold/release decisions
  • Investigating and resolving queries efficiently with internal teams
  • Supporting broader finance and admin tasks and contributing to continuous improvement
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Credit Controller / Credit Control Clerk / Accounts Receivable Clerk / Sales Ledger Assistant / Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant
  • To have a calm and methodical approach, with strong attention to detail
  • Confidence in building relationships and resolving issues collaboratively
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) and ideally Microsoft Dynamics
