Fusion People are looking for a proactive Credit Controller to take on a varied Client portfolio.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our established team in Whiteley, Fareham. The successful candidate will be part of the team ensuring the client debtors are within their credit terms and complete ownership of some of the company's biggest clients.

Ideally you will have previous knowledge and exposure to credit control or accounts, take full responsibility of a specific ledger to ensure all outstanding monies are recovered to agreed terms including all aspects of credit control.

Daily activities will include telephone chasing, query resolution, raising statements and chase letters, allocating all cash received for each specific ledger and other duties in line with the role.

Your primary objective will be to ensure old debt is kept to a minimum, make sure the client accounts are accurately recorded with their payment history and all problem accounts are managed closely to keep within their agreed credit terms,

Skills required as a minimum:

- Previous credit control experience is essential

- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

- Computer literate - familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Confident telephone manner

- Flexible and helpful attitude

- Enjoys working within a busy office environment

Position will be based at Whiteley, with occasional travel to regional or Client offices.
