Credit Controller - Matt Burton : Job Details

Our client is the market leader in printing and due to maternity leave is now recruiting a Credit Controller on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.  Joining the finance team based in Cheadle Heath, but with flexible working arrangements between home and office. The role will have responsibility for collecting debt, building relationships with clients and to understand internal control and risk assessment across a diverse international client base. This role will report into the Credit Control Manager and work within a 21 strong finance team.  Credit Controller Role & Responsibilities:

• Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debt, including UK and International clients
• Evaluation, risk assessment and setting up new client accounts
• Ensure timely collection of debt to agreed targets
• Following up and resolving queries and problematic client accounts
• Posting and allocating daily cash receipts in multiple currencies
• Ad-hoc sales ledger duties as and when required  

Credit Controller Skills & Requirements:

• Well organised to ensure monthly deadlines are met
• Effective management of stakeholders
• Excellent excel and analytical skills
• Has experience with a SME / privately owned business
• Previous experience working in manufacturing, print or logistics
• Knowledge of Sage
