Credit Controller / Finance Administrator

York - Nether Poppleton

Salary: £25k to £27k pa

Invigorate Recruitment is working with its client near York to recruit an additional team member into the finance team.

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller / Finance Administrator .

Purpose:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Credit Controller / Finance Administrator is responsible for managing the debts of the business, along with providing administrative support to the Finance, Sales and Client Services departments within the company.

Main Responsibilities Credit Controller

• Managing and collecting debts from the company’s debtors
• Ensuring the timely collection of debt with agreed terms
• Following up on payments as needed
• Responding the client’s enquiries
• Agreeing potential repayment plans with the Account Management Team
• Checking and posting of receipts
• Provide cover within the Finance Team
• Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met
• Assist the Finance Manager with the processing of core accounts functions.
• Other accountancy/administrative duties as and when required.

Hours of work :8.30am-5pm Mon- Thurs , 8.30am-4pm Fri
