Calling all aspiring educators and experienced youth workers! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in our partner schools throughout the Wirral from September. You'll be an essential part of the school's team, maintaining a high standard of education and a structured learning environment during teacher absences. If you're passionate about working with young people and have a knack for classroom management, we want to hear from you.

Location: We are looking to partner with local schools across the Wirral Peninsula, covering all major towns and their postcode districts, including Birkenhead (CH41-CH43), Wallasey (CH44-CH45), the West Wirral areas of Hoylake and West Kirby (CH47-CH48), and the South Wirral communities of Bebington and Heswall (CH60-CH63).

Pay: We offer a competitive daily rate of £90-£95, with both full-time and part-time options available to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing (Your Main Duties):

  • Leading classes and ensuring students are focused on the work set.
  • Using effective behaviour management techniques to create a constructive and engaging classroom.
  • Dealing with immediate problems or emergencies according to school policies.
  • Providing general assistance and encouragement to pupils.
  • Giving clear and concise feedback to the returning teacher.

Skills & Qualifications needed:

  • A genuine interest in education and a passion for working with secondary-aged students.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and school environments.
  • An empathetic and understanding approach to complex issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a strong advantage.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
