Secondary Schools in Skelmersdale are looking for Cover Supervisors to start ASAP.Your new companyHays are seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, working with various secondary schools across Skelmersdale and the surrounding areas. These roles are perfect for individuals who are passionate about education and have a proven track record of working with children in an educational setting. We have full-time and part-time opportunities currently available for work flexibly, offering daily supply to local schools.Your new role

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Ensure a positive learning environment is maintained.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task.
• Support students with their learning and address any questions or concerns.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity of education.

What you'll need to succeed

• Right to Work in the UK
• Previous experience working with children/leading large groups
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Confidence and good communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding
• Previous cover supervisor experience (Desirable)
• ECT encouraged to apply
