The RoleWe are looking for confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Walsall. In this role, you’ll step into the classroom and deliver pre-prepared lessons to pupils in the absence of their usual teacher. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment, managing behaviour effectively, and ensuring students stay on task. Whether you are seeking day-to-day supply or a longer-term placement, this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience.The CandidateThis position would suit graduates considering a career in teaching, experienced cover staff, or teaching assistants looking to take the next step. You’ll need strong classroom management skills, a calm but assertive approach, and the confidence to engage with students across a variety of subjects.
