The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment
• Follow detailed lesson plans and instructions provided by teachers
• Manage student behaviour and support engagement with learning activities
• Assist with administrative tasks related to cover lessons as needed
• Liaise with teaching staff and school leadership regarding student conduct and progress

Person Specification / Requirements

To be successful, you will:

• Have previous experience working with children or in a school setting (desirable)
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be able to manage and motivate students effectively
• Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible
