Key Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
• A genuine interest in education and working with young people
• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable

Main Responsibilities:

• Supervising pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a calm environment
• Keeping students focused and engaged in the lesson material
• Answering student questions using lesson resources and prior knowledge
• Ensuring a safe and respectful classroom environment
• Maintaining discipline in line with school policy
• Supporting students with a range of learning needs
• Building rapport with students and acting as a strong role model
• Reporting any safeguarding concerns immediately
• Liaising with Heads of Department and pastoral teams as required
• Providing brief lesson feedback and student updates
