We are looking for confident Cover Supervisors to work in Enfield secondary schools on a flexible short-term and long-term contract basis.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor you will work in secondary schools to provide support to subject teachers by covering classes and ensuring students are working on tasks. This is a key role within secondary schools and almost every secondary school now engages cover supervisors to cover absences and staff when they are required for other duties. This is the perfect opportunity for those candidates that are looking to gain more experience in Secondary schools and expand their CV. Your general day to day if to ensure that the students are getting on with their work that has been set for them and ensure that classroom behavior is at a high standard. This means, no teaching involved, just great classroom management!.

To be a Cover Supervisor you do not need any formal qualifications but you must have experience working with children or young people of secondary age. You will need to be able to provide 2 references in relation to working with young people and hold a DBS Enhanced disclosure or be prepared to undertake a new DBS enhanced check.
