Cover Supervisor - Timeplan Education Group Ltd : Job Details

Timeplan are working with an Ofsted-rated 'Good' Academy in the London Borough of Lambeth. The school in question are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Cover Supervisor to join their school, supervising years 7 to 11.

The position is to commence immediately and is term-time only 8:30am - 3:30pm.

You will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of regular teaching staff and ensuring effective learning takes place. You will be required to cover all subjects, from Mathematics to English to Science. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can use their own initiative whilst also being able to relate to and establish a rapport with young people. Educated to degree level with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, your main responsibilities will include undertaking whole class supervision in the absence of the class teacher, setting work previously prepared by the teacher; developing curricular knowledge as required by the school; applying the school's Behaviour Policy and reporting any difficulties to the Designating Safeguarding Lead or SLT.
