Court of Protection Legal Secretary - Clayton Legal : Job Details

I am recruiting for a dynamic and reputable law firm in the St Helens area who due to expanding their teams are now seeking a Court of Protection Legal Secretary to join their team.  This firm provide a great working culture and are passionate & dedicated about the services they provide and look to recruit people with the same mindset.  If you are an organised, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, this firm want to hear from you.  As the successful candidate you will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Legal Secretary, however Court of Protection experience isn’t essential for this role as training will be provided.Your main duties & responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Managing diaries and arranging appointments for Fee Earners
• Keeping accurate records of running costs and time recording
• Producing letters and legal documents, including court bundles
• Drafting documents & digital dictation
• Collaborating with fee earners to ensure timely completion of tasks and meeting deadlines
• Liaising with clients to progress cases and deal with enquiries
• Liaising with third parties and external experts in relation to cases
• Other duties as and when required
