Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance driver

• Pay: £13.20 per hour
• Temporary – approx. 4 weeks
• Location: Micheldever
• Job Type: Full-time – 07:30 – 16:30
• Available immediately

My client is currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join their team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who is available immediately and possesses a counterbalance forklift licence.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move and stack materials in the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
• Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, organised, and safe to work in.
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
• Report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to the management team.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid counterbalance forklift licence.
• Proven experience as a warehouse operative or similar role is essential.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of diligence and attention to detail.
