Counterbalance FLT Drivers - Reed : Job Details

Location: Peterborough

Our client specialises in the production, processing and logistics of high-quality combinable crop seeds. This company offers services including contract growing, cleaning, treating, packing and storage, supplying seeds directly to farms and merchants across the UK.

We are seeking experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Truck Drivers to support our clients' busy seed processing and logistics operations. You will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of seed products across our site, ensuring timely dispatch and accurate storage.

• Operate counterbalance forklift trucks to load, unload and move seed products.
• Transport pallets between production, storage and dispatch areas.
• Assist with packing and labelling of seed products.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report any faults.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support general warehouse duties as required.

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (RTITB or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a warehouse, agricultural, or seed logistics environment preferred.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
• English speaking is essential.

• Full-time and seasonal roles available.
• £12.83 per hour then time and a half over 40 hours
• 2 weeks at 45 hours then 2 weeks at 52 hours - long working hours
• Shift patterns - 2 weeks earlies then 2 weeks lates, on rotation - on the two weeks earlies you will also work 6am-1pm on the Saturday's as well.
