Counterbalance Driver/Warehouse Operative

£12.50 to start with and this will increase once permanent.

Luton - LU2

Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm

We are currently recruiting for one of our clients who are about to hit their busy period. They are looking for a candidate who has impeccable attention to detail and a background in warehousing. Working as a warehouse operative and using the counterbalance to support the team.

Duties for the warehouse operative/counterbalance driver:

• Picking and packing orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Relabeling and distributing goods across departments
• Safely operating step ladders for stock management tasks
• Collaborating with three other drivers to ensure smooth logistics flow
• Operating a counterbalance forklift (1–2 hours daily) – external and in-house licenses accepted (experience required)
• Performing heavy lifting as part of daily warehouse operations
• Supporting cross-training initiatives to develop multi-skilled team members
• Assisting in production as needed to maintain workflow
