Corporate Tax Senior Manager

£75,000 – £90,000 (Depending on Experience)

Location: Solihull | Full Time | Hybrid & Flexible Working Available

We are recruiting for a growing and dynamic tax advisory firm based in the West Midlands, known for its specialist expertise in corporate tax and its collaborative team culture. With a focus on strategic tax planning, M&A support, and technical advisory services, this firm offers an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to work on complex assignments with a diverse and entrepreneurial client base.

Responsibilities
  • Lead complex advisory projects including:
  • Corporate restructuring
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Share scheme implementation and advice
  • Venture capital tax reliefs (EIS/SEIS)
  • Act as the technical point of contact for both clients and internal teams, providing clear and confident tax advice
  • Mentor and support junior team members across large client engagements, contributing to the team’s knowledge base
  • Collaborate with directors to identify business development opportunities and nurture existing client relationships
  • Support the firm's strategic growth through networking, brand-building, and technical excellence
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation and emerging trends
Requirements
  • CTA qualified (or equivalent such as ICAS Tax)
  • Significant post-qualification experience in corporate tax advisory
  • Proven experience managing advisory projects and leading client engagements
  • Strong technical knowledge across corporate tax issues, particularly M&A and restructuring
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and confidently
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring junior staff
  • Proactive and commercially minded, with a passion for delivering value to clients
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office
