Corporate Tax Manager - CMC Consulting Limited : Job Details

A PE backed Asset Management firm seeks a highly intelligent Tax Manager. Due to recent growth, this Asset Management firm is looking to bring the tax in-house, where you will be their first tax hire. Working with the Senior Management team, you will establish the tax function as your own. Working with tax advisors and offering an inspiring culture, duties include:

• Ownership of the tax function
• Prepare and review tax-related documents for different entities and groups.
• Prepare annual budget tax figures for current and deferred tax, including estimated tax payments.
• Control and monitor tax risks, and report on them (direct, indirect, employee-related).
• Help with tax-related issues (corporate, international, VAT), especially during M&A activities.
• Improve processes, work with stakeholders, and execute finance projects.
• Work with auditors, consultants, and HMRC on tax queries and enquiries.
• Review tax accounts monthly and keep permanent files for group companies.
• Monitor interest and debt restrictions quarterly and calculate for HMRC submission.
