Corporate Paralegal - Exciting Opportunity in Renewable Energy!

Are you an ambitious and enthusiastic paralegal looking to join a dynamic in-house legal team? We are working exclusively with a fast-growing renewable energy business, and this is your chance to be part of their next phase of growth!

About the Role:

Join our agile in-house legal team and support key projects, including M&A transactions, finance transactions, and information audits. You'll work closely with our corporate team and external solicitors to deliver impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support on M&A transactions, finance transactions, and information audits
  • Review and manage contracts, including terms and conditions and NDAs
  • Prepare board minutes and approval requests with supporting documents
  • Handle Companies House and company secretarial filings
  • Manage key registers and assist with system and communication development
  • Review and appraise risks in major project contracts
  • Ensure timely completion of legal agreements through project management
  • Provide additional support, including data room management and legal research
  • General administrative support as required

Location:

Based in the heart of Cheltenham, with occasional visits to our London office. They offer hybrid working, allowing you to split your week between home and office.

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a paralegal with a sound knowledge of corporate/commercial law - desirable but not essential 
  • Law degree or experience in a legal or compliance environment, preferably in-house
  • Strong grounding in general commercial matters
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high standard of service
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience managing conflicting priorities
  • Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Sound judgement and discretion on confidential matters
  • Ability to collaborate with the wider Corporate Finance business unit
