  • Lead on internal investigations into suspected wrongdoing, spanning bribery, corruption, sanctions breaches, fraud, money laundering, and tax evasion.
  • Provide preventative compliance advice — drafting and enhancing anti-bribery, AML, and sanctions policies for major corporates.
  • Support on economic crime due diligence in high-value M&A transactions.
  • Advise clients under investigation by enforcement bodies (SFO, FCA, DOJ, HMRC, CPS), whether as corporates, senior executives, witnesses, or suspects.

  • Manage international, multi-jurisdictional matters across diverse industries: energy, defence, consumer, financial services, government, and infrastructure.
What you'll need

  • Demonstrated ability to run workstreams independently, including client contact, drafting, and evidence handling.
  • Strong compliance or preventative advisory experience (e.g. designing/upgrading policies, due diligence in deals).
  • Appetite for both contentious and non-contentious instructions within economic crime.
  • A confident, pragmatic style — balancing technical excellence with commercial advice.
You'll join a ranked Corporate Crime & Investigations practice led by standout partners with deep trial and investigations pedigree. Expect to collaborate across disputes, financial services, and regulatory teams, while benefiting from genuine mentorship and career progression.
